The Mohan T Advani Centennial Scholarship Programme, a flagship initiative of Blue Star Foundation, aims to transform the lives of underprivileged students seeking financial assistance for their undergraduate and diploma courses in the fields of engineering and architecture. Under Bluestar Scholarship program, first and second-year students enrolled in degree or diploma programmes in architecture and engineering at select private or government colleges across India can receive a scholarship of up to INR 75,000 to support their educational pursuits.
About Blue Star Foundation
The Blue Star Foundation, established in 1982, is the philanthropic arm of Blue Star Limited, India’s leading air conditioning and commercial refrigeration company. Its recent flagship initiative, the Mohan T Advani Centennial Scholarship Programme, supports underprivileged students, aiming to facilitate equitable access to higher education for individuals demonstrating good academic records but facing financial constraints
Eligibility
- First and second-year students enrolled in a degree programme in architecture or engineering, such as Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), and related STEM fields, excluding Civil Engineering.
- Applicants must demonstrate a good academic track record.
- Minimum marks in previous years:
- 80% marks in Class 10 and Class 12 for first-year students.
- 80% marks in Class 12 and 75% marks in the 1st year for second-year students.
- Students enrolled in specified colleges* will be eligible to apply.
- Applicants’ annual family income from all sources must be less than INR 6 lakh.
- Recipients should not be beneficiaries of any other scholarship.
- Children of Buddy4Study, Blue Star and Blue Star Foundation employees are not eligible.
*NOTE: The list of colleges may be revised by the scholarship provider.
