Charpak Bachelor’s Scholarship 2024 is an opportunity offered by the French Government to Indian students who wish to pursue a full-time undergraduate degree in one of the institutions in France. The selected candidates will receive a monthly allowance of 860 euros and other benefits.
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be an Indian national or an OCI card holder
- be 23 years old or younger at the time of application
- have completed secondary school in India
- have applied for an eligible bachelor’s program starting on 1st September 2024
- have never previously studied at an educational institution in France
The selected candidates will receive the following benefits:
- A monthly living allowance of 860 euros
- Student visa waiver
- Etudes en France fee waiver or reimbursement
- Social security
- Accommodation assistance (priority access to crous residencies*, subject to availability)
*Note:- CROUS residences are affordable student housing options offered by the Centres Régionaux des Œuvres Universitaires et Scolaires (CROUS), which translates to the Regional Centers for University and School Work in English. These public organisations in France manage student life and provide various resources including scholarships, catering services, and most importantly, student housing.

- Curriculum Vitae (maximum 2 pages)
- Copy of admission/acceptance letter from the French higher education institution
- Scanned copies of marksheet and passing certificate of Higher Secondary School (Class 12) and Secondary school (Class 10)
- French language certificate, if any (DELF/DALF)
- Letter of recommendation (optional)
Note:-
- Applicants who are still awaiting their Class 12 final exams must submit information related to their most recent mid-term exams.
- If the applicant has not received the acceptance letter from the French institution by the deadline, they can submit an email correspondence as proof that they are actively pursuing the letter or are expected to receive it after the scholarship deadline.
- All required documents must be submitted in PDF or JPEG format. Word, RTF, ODT, TXT, MSG documents, ZIP folders, screenshots, and scans of social media will not be accepted.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Register‘ button and fill in the required details to register. (Note – If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID.)
Step 3: Navigate to ‘Application Procedure‘ and click on the given link.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Create Account‘ option and click on it.
Step 5: Fill in the details to ‘Register‘.
Step 6: Once registered successfully, log in with valid credentials and fill in the required details.
Step 7: Upload the supporting documents in the prescribed format and submit the application.
