The Saksham Scholarship Scheme is a flagship CSR program of Mahindra Finance, aimed at the holistic development of drivers and their family members. Under the Saksham Scholarship initiative, scholarships will be provided to children of drivers to pursue higher education. In 2023-24, Mahindra Finance aims to reach more than 2000 children.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Saksham Scholarship Scheme, students must meet the following criteria:
- Be the child of a driver (LMV or LCV) who holds a valid driving license.
- Be currently studying in school (grades 8-12) or college (graduation/post-graduation in arts, science, or commerce or equivalent). Students pursuing professional courses like Pharmacy, Engineering, Diplomas, MBBS, Law, etc. are not eligible to apply.
- Have passed the previous year’s grade with a minimum 60% score.
- Have a family income of less than or equal to ₹ 3 Lakh per annum.
- Be studying in a school or college located in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, or Maharashtra.
Application Process
Students can apply for the Saksham Scholarship Scheme online through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). To apply, students must follow these steps:

- Click on “New Registration” and create an account.
- After creating an account, login to the NSP website and click on “Apply for Scholarship”.
